This was our second pop-up with our friends at Tumbao, held at 20 Orchard Street. More than 1,000 people came through in a single day.
The event arrived after a difficult summer. Tone Deaf's direction felt uncertain, and I was carrying more doubt than confidence in myself as a designer. Looking back, I think of that day as the brand's real launch, the moment that gave Tone Deaf the momentum it still carries. It remains one of the most meaningful days of my life.
Fall/Winter '25 was also the first collection in which Tone Deaf expanded beyond pants and into outerwear. Seeing that larger world take shape, then sharing it directly with the community, made the day feel especially significant.
